Isabelle Chalendar co-recipient of the G. de B. Robinson Prize 2025
The Canadian Mathematical Society has announced that Isabelle Chalendar is the recipient of the 2025 edition of the G. de B. Robinson Prize along with Jonathan R. Partington (University of Leeds) for their joint paper, “Phase Retrieval on Circles and Lines,” published in the Canadian Mathematical Bulletin (67:4, 2024, pp 927-935).
The G. de B. Robinson Prize was established to reward the publication of excellent papers in the Canadian Journal of Mathematics (CJM) and the Canadian Mathematical Bulletin (CMB) and to encourage the submission of the highest quality papers to these journals. It is named in honor of Gilbert de Beauregard Robinson, the third president in the history of the CMS. Along with H.S.M. Coxeter, he founded the Canadian Journal of Mathematics (CJM), of which he was editor-in-chief for 30 years.
Isabelle Chalendar is a professor at Gustave Eiffel University and a member of the Laboratory of Analysis and Applied Mathematics (CNRS, Gustave Eiffel University, University of Paris-Est Créteil Val-de-Marne).
The CRM-CNRS is pleased to participate in Isabelle’s stay in Canada for the reception of her award.
